* Please use this document every time you start work in the lab. Simply start at step number 1 and try to finish as much as possible. If you need help, please ask your tech buddies. If you AND your tech buddies still need need help, then you may ask me by raising your hand!

2. Write them a 1 page letter in response! Make sure to tell them more about yourself, and ask a few questions so they can write back. BE SURE to write your date and type name at bottom of letter.

1. Write Conclusion Paragraph for your Feature Article. Try to make it tie back to your introduction paragraph!
2. FINISH your Feature Article! Fun Facts, Pictures, change background colors if you want! Make it cool! I will be sending these off to Graphics today!

1. African American Living Museum (AALM): Soon, you will research the life of a famous African American person who CHANGED the world to become a better place, and you will BECOME them! Today in the C.L, all I want you to do is to do some research to pick your top 3 people who you would like to become (boys pick boys, girls pick girls). Read articles, watch videos, and search around to find 3 African American people who INSPIRE you. Remember- they must be American citizens, can be dead or alive, and MUST have made a positive impact on society. Later today, you will fill out a google form telling your top 3 and provide 1 reason why you want to become them. If there are several students wanting to become the same person, I will choose the person who gives the best reason. Happy searching!

- Click here for tutorial if you have never made a wevideo
- read your letter to your character in your video- add expression, appropriate pauses and speak clearly
- once your done with your voiceover, make it cool! add images to match what you are talking about, and possibly quiet music in the background
- When finished with letter, turn in on flipgrid on Google Classroom

- REMEMBER: This is our first time using WeVideo- I am not expecting perfection, rather I am expecting you to get a chance to learn this new digital tool!
